4 Flavor Cream Cheese bound cake recipe
The flavors definitely takes it to another level and melts in my mouth! I tasted the batter and kept adding flavor until I achieved the taste I was after. The batter will taste just like the cake.
Recipe
- 4 sticks salted butter softened to room temp
- 3 cups of sugar
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour (unsifted)
- 6 eggs at room temp
- 1 (8 oz) Philly cream cheese softened
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp coconut
- 2 tsp almond
- 2 tsp lemon
Directions:
- Warm the oven up to 275 degrees.
- Well blend the butter and sugar together until they are light and fluffy.
- Mix well after adding the cream cheese.
- Each time you add an egg, make sure to mix it well.
- Each time you add a cup of flour, make sure to mix it in well until it’s all gone. It will be very thick, but the batter should be smooth and fluffy.
- After you taste the batter, you can add as many or as few spices as you want.
- Spray a cake pan with a lot of Pam before baking, and then pour the batter into it right away, leaving about 3/4 of the way to the top to give it room to rise.
- If your pan is only 10 cups, pour the extra batter into a different cake or bread pan. Keep a close eye on the smaller pan because it won’t take as long to cook.
- Drop the pan on the table or shake it to make sure the batter is spread out evenly and there are no air bubbles. Then, use a spoon or knife to smooth the top.
- Put it in the oven for about two hours. Different ovens have different cooking times, so keep an eye on her and use a toothpick or chopstick to make sure she’s done.
