Buttermilk Pie recipeĀ
My first time making a Buttermilk Pie. My my – it is so delicious to me. Didn’t get a picture prior to Hubs cutting him a slice warm and right out of the oven. š¤£
Ingredients:
- 1 (9-inch) Pie Crust – Unbaked
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350Ā°F.
- Mix together eggs, granulated sugar, flour, melted butter, buttermilk, vanilla, lemon juice, and salt until well-combined.
- Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool prior to slicing.
Storage:
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- We heat it up in the microwave just a few seconds when ready to eat another slice as we donāt like it cold. Enjoy!
