30-Minute Rolls recipe
I always wanted to make my own bread, found this recipe which is pretty simple….and used my KitchenAid mixer, which helped…30-minute rolls….they usually turn out pretty good. Recipe is in the first comment.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons warm water
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 cups flour (bread or all-purpose)
Instructions:
- Get the Oven Ready: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Prepare the Yeast Mixture: Put the warm water, oil, yeast, and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Mix the Dough: Mix the yeast with 2 cups of flour, salt, and the egg with a dough hook.
- Add Remaining Flour: Add the last 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup at a time.
- Shape the Rolls: Spray a pan with nonstick spray and roll the dough into balls. Put in a 9×13 pan and let it rise for 10 minutes.
- Bake: Put them in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
