Salisbury Steak Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Hamburger Mixture:

  • 1 lb of hamburger
  • 1/3 cup of plain panko crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire
  • Seasoning to your liking (I use garlic, onion powder & Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse Blend)

For the Gravy:

  • 2 packs of brown gravy
  • About 2 cups of hot water
  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup
  • Dash or two of Worcestershire

Instructions:

  1. In your pan, add a little bit of oil over medium heat.
  2. Pat your patties out and add to the pan.
  3. Add your sliced onion and let them brown on both sides, only flipping once.
  4. After brown, add your gravy over and let it thicken, reducing the heat to low. Let simmer.

Delicious Salisbury Steak with Perfect Mashed Potatoes

Mashed Potatoes Recipe

  • Peel & dice your potatoes in a cooker
  • Rinse them till the water is clean
  • Boil on high till you can stick a fork through them
  • Strain them
  • Add about half a stick of butter
  • Tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • Dash or so of milk
  • Salt & pepper
