Buttermilk Biscuits with Self Rising Flour

Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 heaping spoonful shortening
about 2–3 tbsp
- 1 cup buttermilk
or milk with vinegar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 500°F.
Mix flour and shortening until crumbly.
Stir in buttermilk until dough forms.
Form biscuits by hand and place in greased skillet.
Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden.
