Cinnamon Roll Biscuits

These buttery, flaky biscuits are layered with cinnamon sugar and topped with a sweet vanilla glaze—a perfect mash-up of two breakfast favorites!

Ingredients
  

  • For the Biscuits:
  • - 1 batch of your favorite homemade biscuit dough
  • - 1/2 cup softened real butter
  • - 1/4 cup white sugar
  • - 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • - 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • For the Glaze:
  • - 1 cup powdered sugar
  • - 2 tbsp melted butter
  • - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 2–3 tbsp cream or milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a baking dish.
  • Roll out biscuit dough to about 1/4" thickness on a floured surface.
  • Spread softened butter over the dough.
  • Mix sugars and cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over buttered dough.
  • Fold the dough several times to create layers.
  • Cut into squares or rounds and place in the baking dish.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and baked through.
  • While baking, mix glaze ingredients until smooth.
  • Drizzle glaze over warm biscuits and serve.

Notes

- These take longer to bake than regular biscuits—watch the center for doneness!
- For extra indulgence, double the glaze and serve with coffee.
