Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler with Cake Mix

Ingredients
- 2 cans peach pie filling
- 3 ripe peaches
peeled & sliced
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 7 oz lemon-lime soda
Sprite, 7Up, or ginger ale
- 1 stick butter
cut into pads
- Cinnamon
to taste
Instructions
- Line Dutch oven with aluminum pie pan and grease lightly.
- Pour in peach pie filling and mix with fresh peaches. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over peaches. Do not stir.
- Slowly pour soda over cake mix. Do not stir.
- Place butter pads evenly on top.
- Cover with lid, place coals on top and bottom, and bake ~50 mins until golden.
Notes
- Rotate Dutch oven during cooking to prevent burning.
- Substitute other fruits and cake mixes for variety.
- Store leftovers in fridge up to 4 days.
