Easy Baklava Cups

Ingredients
- 3 boxes phyllo shells
- 2 cups walnuts
finely chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 5 tbsp butter
- Optional spices: cinnamon
clove, cardamom
Instructions
Crisp phyllo shells if desired.
Fill each shell with 1 1/2 tsp walnuts.
Simmer water, sugar, honey, lemon juice, and butter 5 minutes.
Spoon 2 tsp syrup into each cup.
Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Best eaten within 24 hours.
- For parties, assemble on-site and keep syrup hot in a thermos.
- Try pistachios or almonds for variation.
