Easy Cast Iron Biscuits

Simple, rustic homemade biscuits baked in cast iron. No recipe needed—just cold butter, flour, and a splash of milk.

Ingredients
  

  • - 2 1/2 cups White Lily self-rising flour
  • - 1 stick cold butter grated
  • - 1 cup milk as needed
  • - Oil or bacon grease for skillet

Instructions
 

  • Mix flour and cold butter.
  • Add milk slowly to form dough.
  • Knead 2–3 minutes on floured surface.
  • Pinch dough into biscuits. Place in greased cast iron skillet.
  • Press gently, brush with oil.
  • Bake at 425°F for 15–20 minutes.

Notes

- Let the tops brown for extra flavor.
