Easy Homemade Lasagna with Cottage Cheese

Ingredients
- 8 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar
24 oz marinara sauce
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Boil noodles, drain, and lay flat.
Cook beef in skillet, add sauce, and simmer 10 mins.
Mix cottage cheese, egg, salt, pepper, seasoning.
In baking dish, layer sauce, noodles, cheese mix, mozzarella. Repeat.
Top with remaining sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
Cover and bake 30 mins. Uncover and bake 10 mins more.
Rest 15 mins before slicing.
Notes
- Add veggies like spinach or mushrooms for variety.
- Can prep ahead and bake when ready.
