Easy Homemade Lasagna with Cottage Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • - 8 lasagna noodles
  • - 1 lb ground beef
  • - 1 jar 24 oz marinara sauce
  • - 1 cup cottage cheese
  • - 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • - 1 egg
  • - ½ tsp salt
  • - ½ tsp pepper
  • - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • - ½ cup grated Parmesan

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Boil noodles, drain, and lay flat.
  • Cook beef in skillet, add sauce, and simmer 10 mins.
  • Mix cottage cheese, egg, salt, pepper, seasoning.
  • In baking dish, layer sauce, noodles, cheese mix, mozzarella. Repeat.
  • Top with remaining sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  • Cover and bake 30 mins. Uncover and bake 10 mins more.
  • Rest 15 mins before slicing.

Notes

- Add veggies like spinach or mushrooms for variety.
- Can prep ahead and bake when ready.
