Easy Peach Cobbler with Canned Peaches

5‑ingredient, one‑bowl peach cobbler made with canned peaches—self‑crusting and ready for ice cream in under an hour.

Ingredients
  

  • * 2 Tbsp butter plus extra pats
  • * 2 cups all‑purpose flour
  • * ²/₃ cup sugar
  • * 4 tsp baking powder
  • * 1 cup milk
  • * 1 29‑oz can sliced peaches, drained (reserve syrup)
  • * ¾ cup sugar topping
  • * 1 cup warmed peach syrup

Instructions
 

  • # Preheat oven 350 °F. Melt 2 Tbsp butter in 9×13 dish.
  • # Whisk flour, ²⁄₃ cup sugar, baking powder. Stir in milk.
  • # Pour batter over butter; top with peach slices. Sprinkle ¾ cup sugar.
  • # Warm 1 cup syrup; drizzle over top; add a few butter pats.
  • # Bake 40 min until golden and toothpick in cakey part comes out clean.
  • # Cool 15 min; serve warm.

Notes

* Use two 15‑oz cans peaches if 29‑oz unavailable.
* Replace topping sugar with cinnamon sugar for spice.
