Homemade Heart-Shaped Pop Tarts

Ingredients
- 2 refrigerated pie crusts
- Strawberry jam
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 drop red food coloring
- Sprinkles
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut hearts from pie crust.
Place jam in center of half the hearts.
Brush edges with egg wash. Seal with top heart. Crimp edges.
Poke holes in top. Brush with egg wash.
Bake 10–12 minutes. Cool.
Mix icing. Spread on cooled pop tarts. Top with sprinkles.
Notes
- Customize with different fillings.
- Store airtight up to 2 days or refrigerate 5 days.
- Freeze unbaked pop tarts up to 2 months.
