Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 cups butter
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups sugar
- 5 cups oats
blended to powder
- 36 oz chocolate chips
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 9.3 oz Hershey bar
chopped
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups chopped nuts
Instructions
Blend oats to fine powder.
Cream butter and sugars, add eggs and vanilla.
Mix flour, oats, salt, baking powder, and baking soda; combine with wet mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips, Hershey bar, and nuts.
Shape into balls or spoon onto baking sheet.
Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes.
Notes
- Hand-stir to avoid overmixing.
- Freeze dough or baked cookies for later.
- Add gold leaf for weddings.
