Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
plus ingredients to prepare it
- 1 stick
1/2 cup butter
- 1 can
12 oz evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 heaping tablespoons peanut butter
Instructions
Prepare yellow cake mix and bake in greased cast iron skillet at 350°F for 25–35 minutes.
Let cake cool for 10 minutes. Poke holes with handle of wooden spoon.
In a saucepan, melt butter. Add sugar and evaporated milk. Bring to a gentle boil.
Stir in peanut butter. Mix until smooth.
Slowly pour over cake. Let soak and cool for 30 minutes.
Notes
- Try Nutella or cookie butter instead of peanut butter.
- Store covered at room temp for 2–3 days.
