Strawberry Upside Down Cake in Cast Iron Skillet

Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter
softened
- Brown sugar
to coat skillet bottom
- Fresh strawberries
sliced
- 1 box Betty Crocker Pineapple Supreme cake mix
- Ingredients listed on cake box
eggs, oil, water
Instructions
Grease skillet with butter; coat with brown sugar.
Arrange strawberries over sugar.
Mix cake batter as directed on box.
Pour over strawberries.
Bake at 325°F for 35 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes, then invert onto platter.
Notes
- Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
