Supersoft Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter and sugars.
  • Add egg and vanilla.
  • Stir in salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
  • Mix in flour until smooth.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Chill dough 1–2 hours.
  • Scoop large dough balls onto prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F for 12–13 minutes.
  • Cool before serving.

Notes

Dough must be chilled.
Store airtight for 3–4 days.
Freeze dough or cookies up to 2 months.
