Homemade Sun Tea Recipe
Sun Tea Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 tea bags
- Water
- Lemon slices (optional)
- Simple syrup (optional)
Instructions:
- Get out your favorite gallon glass jar. For the foreseeable future, that will be our brewing sanctuary.
- Drop those eight tea bags into your container. Any flavor will do to suit your palate.
- Fill the jar with water now. We want it to be bursting with promise, so don’t be shy.
- Sun Soak: Put your jar somewhere bright and pop the lid. Give it around a day of sunshine. Nature’s long steeping gives our tea its unique taste.
- Getting rid of bags: Put those tea bags away when the sun goes down. They did a good job.
- Put your sunny jar in the fridge. We want our tea to be cold when we’re thirsty.
- Pour your cooled tea into a glass filled with ice and customize. Glamorous today? For that ideal summer sweetness, add a squeeze of lemon juice and a smidge of simple syrup.
- Take a deep breath and relax. Find the best place for you, whether it’s inside or outside, and enjoy the effects of your sun-kissed work. Let each drink take you back to relaxed, sun-filled summer days.
- That’s it—your home-brewed sun tea, made with love and sunshine. To summer and all the easy things it brings!
