Mac cheese.

Chicken and Cheese Macaroni Bake

My grown up daughter come over and cooked her amazing chicken macaroni bake for us for Easter. I call it death by Mac & cheese.Mac  cheese.

what you Need:

  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 cups of shredded chicken
  • 3 cups mild cheddar
  • 2 cup mozzarella
  • 3 oz of cream cheese
  • 2 cups (at least) of heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups (at least) of chicken stock/broth
  • 2.5 cups elbow pasta uncooked


  • Melt butter
  • Add two cloves minced garlic
  • Let simmer.
  • Pour in a cup of heavy cream
  • Season to your liking
  • Add in 3 oz of cream cheese. Let simmer until it is melted
  • Pour in 2nd cup of heavy cream and 1 cup of chicken stock/broth
  • Add in 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, let melt.
  • Add in 2 cups mild cheddar
  • Add in additional stock/broth as you go, if needed to thin out cheese sauce.
  • Fold sauce and cheese together until you get a thick, creamy cheese sauce.
  • Fold in shredded chicken.
  • Fold in cooked* elbow pasta.
  • Take 1 cup mozzarella and 1 cup mild cheddar to create crust/top of dish.
  • Place in oven on 350 for 15 minutes.
  • Let cool 10 minutes.
  • Enjoy
  • Mac  cheese.
