Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar,
  • 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar,
  • 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt,
  • 1/8 teaspoon of pepper,
  • 4 cups of peas that have been thawed.
    1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 3/4 cup cubed sharp cheddar cheese (about the same size as the peas)
  • 8 bacon slices, cooked crispy and broken up

instructions

  • Put the mayo, sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper in a big bowl.
  • Add the sour cream and whisk to mix.
  • Put the peas, onion, cheese, and bacon in the bowl and gently stir to mix everything together.
  • Put in the fridge at least an hour before serving.

NOTES: You can keep leftover food in the fridge for up to three days if you put it in a jar that can be sealed. I don’t think you should freeze this salad, though. It won’t hold together well, and the bacon and peas will get too soft when they thaw.
