Meat Sauce Recipe for Spaghetti

  • Ground chuck weighing two pounds
  • One can of diced tomatoes
  • One can of crushed tomatoes
  • Two cans of tomato sauce
  • Olive oil, three tablespoons
  • Fresh garlic, five cloves
  • One large or two medium onions
  • One green bell pepper
  • Garlic powder, one teaspoon
  • One sachet of onion powder
  • Minced parsley, two tablespoons
  • One sachet of dried sweet basil
  • A scoop of Italian seasoning
  • One teaspoon of dried oregano
  • One teaspoon of sea salt
  • One-half teaspoon of black pepper

To an extra-large hot skillet, add olive oil, chopped green peppers, and onions, and sauté for five to seven minutes over medium heat. Then, add five minced garlic cloves. Cook until golden brown. Once browned, add the ground chuck. Remove the meat’s oil. Stir to distribute all of the spices and seasonings into the browned ground chuck. Stir in the diced tomatoes and crushed tomatoes. Stir in the tomato sauce last. Reduce heat and simmer for an hour.

For the Spaghetti
