Southern Green Turnip Soup: A Flavorful Twist on a Classic

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Margaret Holmes seasoned turnip greens (1 can)
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 can Rotel
  • 1 can black-eyed peas, drained
  • 1 can navy beans, drained
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 pound small-cut sausage (Cajun Conecha sausage works well)

Instructions:

  1. Fry the sausage and onion briefly.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the skillet.
  3. Cook for around 30 minutes.

Note: Feel free to adjust the cooking time as per your preference.
