Microwave 6-Minute Treacle Pudding
Ingredients:
- 100g self-raising flour
- Caster sugar
- Butter
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons milk
- Golden syrup
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Method:
- Soften the butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs and fold in the flour and baking powder.
- Add the milk to the mixture.
- Grease the inside of a microwaveable dish.
- Put the golden syrup on the bottom of the dish.
- Pour the mixture over the syrup, covering it completely.
- Place double baking paper on top of the dish and tie it securely with string.
- Pop the dish in the microwave.
- Cook on full power for 6 minutes.
- When the time is up, leave the dish in the microwave for an additional minute to stand.
Note: The recipe was prepared using a 6″ x 4″ Pyrex dish.
