2-Ingredient Homemade Biscuits
I tried a new homemade biscuit recipe this evening. It only has 2 ingredients!!
my biscuits turned out perfect, so light and fluffy! Plus by making them in my CI pan the bottoms are pretty and browned. I like the brown part. You just gotta try this recipe out. I didn’t believe it, but it works.
2-Ingredient Homemade Biscuits recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups self rising flour
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Whisk flour well to aerate it, then slowly pour in whipping cream while gently stirring. Do not over mix.
- Put dough on floured surface, roll out, and cut biscuits. (I use a coffee cup.)
- Bake at 400°F for 12 to 15 minutes. (I adjusted from the original recipe due to my old oven.) Remove when brown enough.
- Brush tops of biscuits with butter as soon as they come out of the oven.
- Serve and enjoy!
