Classic Brown Sugar Fudge Recipe
delicately smooth and irresistibly tender
Ingredients:
- Two cups of packed light brown sugar.
- One cup of white sugar
- One cup of coffee cream
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- Add half a teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon of vanilla.
Step-by-step guide:
- Prepare the pan by lining it with parchment paper. (I opted for a loaf pan instead).
- Put a saucepan on the stove over medium-low heat and add packed light brown sugar, white sugar, and coffee cream. Continuously stir until the mixture becomes completely dissolved, smooth, and free of any gritty texture.
- Adjust the heat to medium and keep stirring for a duration of 6 minutes. Or until it reaches the desired consistency.
- Take the mixture off the heat and gently incorporate 3 tablespoons of butter, half a teaspoon of salt, and a teaspoon of vanilla.
- Whisk vigorously with a wooden spoon for approximately 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and loses its shiny appearance.
- Transfer the mixture into the pan and let it cool down entirely.
- After cooking, take it out of the pan and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
