Ooey Gooey Bars
The crust:
- One yellow cake mix box.
- Butter, one stick melted
- One egg
Directions for the Crust
- Turn your oven on to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, thoroughly combine the egg, melted butter and yellow cake mix.
- Fill a 9 by 13-inch baking pan that has been oiled.
Peaking:
- Sugar, powdered, two cups
- One softened block of eight ounces of cream cheese
Topping Directions:
- Beat the egg, cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy in a another bowl.
- Over the crust in the baking pan, evenly cover with the topping mixture.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until top is firm and just beginning to brown.
- Slice and serve after letting cool.
