Hillbilly Spaghetti Pie

instructions

  • First, cook the onion for 5 minutes over medium-low heat in 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • over medium-high heat, cook the beef and sausage.
  • Put in the garlic, Italian spice, and oregano when the meat is almost cooked through.
  • Before proceeding with the recipe, I removed the grease from the minced beef and sausage.
  • Stir in the water, sugar, and salt after the meat has cooked. Include spaghetti that has been fractured.
  • Put the linguine into the liquid and cover it for eight minutes.
  • Stir the pasta after 8 minutes to prevent the strands from adhering to one another.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue to simmer for an additional six minutes until the pasta is tender (almost cooked but still slightly firm).
  • Stir in cream, Parmesan cheese, and oregano.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top and place in the oven to broil until it is a light golden brown.
